The Impossible Issue
Issue 22 (Winter 2018)
Sorbet’s winter 2018 issue is dedicated to the extraordinary and unimaginable, and the people making the impossible, well, possible. For this issue’s cover shoot, we flew to New York with Egyptian artist Youssef Nabil to shoot Maurizio Cattelan. The Italian artist plays with the perception of reality and what is ‘original’ in his new exhibition, The Artist is Present, questioning what is possible when it comes to creating art. We also played bingo with Rome-based gender-fluid designer Harris Reed (left) in Gucci’s versatile Resort 2019 collection, danced in Barcelona with Spanish ‘movement poet’ Candela Capitán and spoke to Sinéad Burke, the Irish activist challenging fashion and design to be more inclusive. These three, along with the rest of the issue, we hope will inspire you to achieve what you might have always thought was impossible.
