Sorbet’s summer 2018 issue is dedicated to all our friends who have been instrumental to the past five years. While there are too many to mention across our 250 pages, and certainly too many to cram on the cover, we choose seven to start with – Deena Aljuhani Abdulaziz, Isabelle de La Bruyère, Maryam Eisler, David Linley, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Paula Al Sabah and Omar Ghobash. Inside the issue, we danced to disco with iconic supermodel Debra Shaw, sailed the Thames with British artist Petra Palumbo, took a dip in the Dubai sea with Lebanese entrepreneur Zoya Sakr, tapped into artist and designer Nadine Kanso’s alter ego, hung out with Berlin-based creative director, Melanie Dagher and turned the camera on Iranian publisher, Mojeh Izadpanah in Paris. It really is just one, big happy family.
